Fees and Charges

A summary of fees outlined on the Keys Facts Illustration, from solicitor's fees to telegraphic transfer costs (fees are subject to change).

Arrangement Fee

  • An arrangement fee is payable when the loan completes. The amount of the fee is shown on the Key Facts Illustration.

Solicitor's Costs

  • We will instruct the borrower's solicitor to act for us provided the firm has two or more partners. If this is not the case we will instruct our own solicitor to act for us. The solicitor's costs are payable by the borrower.

Valuation Fees

  • A valuation fee is payable which covers the cost of the valuation. The valuation fee includes a non-refundable administration fee of no greater than £100.

    The amount of the fee varies depending on the value of the property:

Telegraphic Transfer Fee

  • The funds are transferred to the borrower's solicitor by way of telegraphic transfer upon completion of the mortgage. The Telegraphic Transfer fee is £35.

Deeds Release Fee

  • The fee charged for releasing the deeds of the property and returning them to the owner or their solicitor when the mortgage has been repaid. The fee payable is currently £45.
